Incident & Problem Coordinator

We are looking for an
Incident & Problem Coordinator
to join the Service Operations team of a major US technology company in central Tokyo. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the rapid and effective resolution of critical incidents across global systems and services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SREs and business partners to drive rapid incident resolution
- Act as the single point of contact for incidents, internally and externally
- Conduct situational assessment, troubleshooting, and problem analysis
- Lead or contribute to post-incident reviews and root cause analysis
- Identify and analyze trends in incidents to prevent recurrence and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing major incidents and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English, ideally also Japanese
- Experience leading or contributing to post-incident reviews using structured methodologies (e.g., Five Whys)
- Strong understanding of incident and problem management KPIs, metrics, and tools
- Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
