Incident & Problem Coordinator
Location: Tokyo | Industry: Global Technology | Work Style: Hybrid
We are looking for an
Incident & Problem Coordinator
to join the Service Operations team of a major US technology company in central Tokyo. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the rapid and effective resolution of critical incidents across global systems and services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SREs and business partners to drive rapid incident resolution
  • Act as the single point of contact for incidents, internally and externally
  • Conduct situational assessment, troubleshooting, and problem analysis
  • Lead or contribute to post-incident reviews and root cause analysis
  • Identify and analyze trends in incidents to prevent recurrence and improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing major incidents and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English, ideally also Japanese
  • Experience leading or contributing to post-incident reviews using structured methodologies (e.g., Five Whys)
  • Strong understanding of incident and problem management KPIs, metrics, and tools
  • Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
