The Role
As the Finance Director for Japan, you will oversee all finance and accounting operations for the Japan business while acting as a key strategic partner to the Country Manager and APAC leadership.
You will manage financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, ensuring strong governance and accurate financial performance tracking.This role is central to driving financial strategy in a fast-scaling environment and will involve collaboration with regional and global finance teams.
You will lead a small but high-performing team and play a critical role in supporting Japan's business expansion.Your Skills
Fluent Japanese and English.
10+ years of finance and accounting experience, ideally within data centers, technology, real estate, telecom, or other capital-intensive industries.
Strong knowledge of JGAAP; familiarity with IFRS is highly advantageous.
Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, internal controls, and audit.
Prior leadership experience managing teams and working in a matrixed global organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
