With 1 Hotel Tokyo opening soon, we're excited to announce an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Finance.In this pivotal role, you'll be a key member of the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance, and supporting the daily operation of the hotel's finance function—ensuring compliance with Starwood Hotels policies and all local statutory requirements.
As Assistant Director of Finance, you'll play an active role in financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, reconciliations, and day-to-day financial controls.
You'll help drive accountability and performance across the hotel, partnering closely with the Director of Finance and the wider leadership team to support strong commercial outcomes.
Just as importantly, you'll help create a team environment where people can thrive—through clear communication, practical support, and ongoing coaching and development.

Key Qualifications and SkillsThe ideal candidate will bring 3+ years' experience in a similar managerial role, along with a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
You'll have exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, and excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and familiarity with hotel/hospitality operating systems will be strongly regarded.
