We are seeking a Technical Lead to spearhead a critical environmental engineering service for our partner in the consumer electronics industry.
You will lead a dedicated EPAM team responsible for ensuring our partner's products meet the highest global standards for environmental compliance.
ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing EPAM team dedicated to environmental compliance and data validation
Own the successful delivery of our managed service, ensuring all project milestones and quality benchmarks are met
Drive the resolution of complex compliance issues by collaborating with suppliers and FATP (Final Assembly, Test, and Pack) sites
Oversee project tracking, highlight risks, and drive issues to closure with partner stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
Lead and deliver training to suppliers and internal teams on key compliance processes and requirements
Conduct product risk assessments with guidance from partner experts to proactively identify potential compliance challenges
Continuously identify and drive process and system improvements to enhance data gathering efficiency and service quality
Requirements
Strong project management skills and exceptional ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Material Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related engineering/scientific field is highly recommended
Proven experience in environmental regulations and product compliance, preferably within the electronics industry
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong engineering mindset
Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1) and business-level English, both written and verbal
Nice to have
Awareness of computer science fundamentals and software development lifecycles
Experience delivering managed services or outcome-based projects
Knowledge of compliance system development and supply chain auditing
