Moody's Ratings Sustainable Finance Team is hiring
Sustainable finance has a key role to play in the world's transition to a low-carbon and sustainable economy by channeling financing into investments with clear environmental/social benefits.
Long-term growth potential for sustainable finance is strong: Moody's forecasts issuance of green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked (GSSS) bonds to total $950 billion in 2024. In turn, market participants are increasingly demanding accurate assessments detailing the sustainability credentials of an organization's bond and loan issuance.
Our Second Party Opinions (SPOs) bring clarity on whether GSSS financial instruments and/or financing frameworks meet market standards and their potential sustainability impact. Our role as an SPO provider is to support the integrity and clarity of a market that is becoming increasingly complex, covering a growing range of sectors and technologies.

The Role
The Sustainable Finance Analyst will be focused on delivering Second Party Opinions to customers across a diverse set of sectors including the corporate, financial and public sectors. The successful candidate will possess ample knowledge of the sustainable finance space and demonstrable track record of working in Asia Pacific. This is a visible external role that will require interaction with prospective and current customers and other market participants. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing and dynamic area of sustainable finance.
