Job Title: Sales and Account Manager

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and cultivate partnerships within the Retail Convenience sector in Japan, meeting specified KPIs
  • Evaluate local market capacities, needs, and trends to formulate market strategies
  • Devise country-specific strategies to attain sales objectives and enhance profitability within the mass and hobby market segment
  • Identify, cultivate, and assist new clients through account development, relationship management, and lead generation
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market to drive competitive advantage, providing valuable insights to shape strategic and tactical plans
  • Ensure seamless communication and information flow with internal departments such as Sales Support, Marketing, Brand, Production, and Logistics
  • Present business status reports to Finance, Controlling, Planning, and Senior Management

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • A sports enthusiast with a keen grasp of the business landscape
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various sales techniques and strategies to boost sales within the respective regions
  • Thorough understanding of target markets and consumer behavior
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Organized and methodical, adept at managing tasks and priorities independently
  • Proactive with a strong initiative-taking capability
  • Presentable with a professional demeanor as a brand representative
  • Sound business acumen with commercial awareness
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in English & Japanese languages
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, such as Export Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
