Amazon Japan is looking for a strategic, dynamic, and self-starter to join us as Supply Chain Sr. Finance Analyst in our headquarters in Tokyo.
JP Operations Finance Supply Chain:
The Supply Chain Sr. Financial Analyst will provide analytical support to optimize our dynamic and rapidly growing Operations Supply Chain network. Partnered closely with Amazon Japan Operations Supply Chain, Retail, Marketing, and Tech team, Supply Chain Sr.
Financial Analyst will perform a key role in the end-to-end supply chain process across Japan, to develop key business ideas and financial decisions in network capacity strategies.
Evaluating and quantifying the complex problems and solutions in supply chain network, you will lead network capacity planning, analyze financial and operational performance, continuously seek and propose improvement opportunities, and support and lead initiatives to drive improvements on customer experience by optimizing supply chain network.
This is a perfect position for someone who works fast and smart. Key job responsibilities- Prepare capacity planning and forecasting in overall Amazon supply chain network
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, retail, marketing and tech team, to drive strategic capacity initiatives and cost optimizations in end-to-end supply chain network, better services to customers, and the company's long-term success
- Perform data-driven analyses, develop financial frameworks, and create meaningful reports to drive network optimization and cost reductions
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities & providing level-headed guidance during unexpected events
- Recommend, invent, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Communicate financial performance to business and finance partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Business language ability in both English and Japanese
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience designing and implementing controls or experience performing audits over financial reporting environment
