Overall responsibility of end to end logistics operations in Japan, including warehousing, domestic transportation, import and export.職務内容
- Manages day-to-day activities of a team responsible for safe operation of moving goods and materials, including developing schedules, methods and routes
- Analyzes costs, coordinating customs clearances and permits
- Develops and implements warehousing and distribution procedures according to Corporate Standards to optimize resources and achieve volume targets
- Contacts shipping agencies and transport companies
- Delivers operational excellence and manages warehousing / transportation of all business units
- Steers market logistics regarding minimization of Logistics costs in accordance with the agreed service level target
Leads and drives sustainability initiatives projects at a local level - Acts as key market responsible for logistics purchasing agreements and local related tendering
Identifies and leverages the use of modern technologies such as robotics, IoT or AI to foster efficiency, automation, and collaboration - Manages performance and measures the impact of the digitized supply chain with the help of big data, KPIs and integrated systems
- Active representation of Henkel logistics within market, in national and international, internal and external bodies and working groups
適したスキル
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experiences, with 3-5 years in managerial role.
- Familiar with WMS/TMS and supplier management Excellent leadership, communication & problem solving skills.
- Fluent in Japanese and English. Experience in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Willingness to travel (20-30%)
