Department Overview
The Information Systems Division plays a crucial role in supporting the IT infrastructure of the Rakuten Insurance Group.
In addition to maintaining and managing the core systems that handle our customers' important contracts, the division actively works on developing new products and improving services using IT, closely aligning its operations with the company's business activities.
The IT Strategy team is responsible for formulating overall IT strategies for Rakuten Life Insurance and translating them into actionable initiatives.
By working closely with the CIO, you will have the opportunity to be involved in planning and conceptualizing strategies from the early stages of the mid-term business planning process.
As part of a small and highly skilled team, you will have the chance to take on significant responsibilities and gain experience in new technologies and various business areas.

Position Details
You will be responsible for IT strategy and planning tasks within Rakuten Life Insurance's IT division.
Formulate and execute IT strategies based on the mid-term business plan.
Collaborate with the CIO to manage the progress of the plan and adjust as necessary.
Research and analyze the latest IT trends.
Plan and propose initiatives related to the development of data utilization infrastructure.

Mandatory Qualifications
Over 2 years of experience in IT strategy/planning
Over 5 years of experience in IT-related work

Business-level English proficiency
