The Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer success by driving satisfaction throughout the entire customer lifecycle. From orchestrating engagement to successful delivery and beyond, this position is responsible for guaranteeing our customers derive maximum value from our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate passion and lead by example, prioritizing Databricks and customer needs to achieve sales and delivery objectives.
- Collaborate with sales counterparts early in the sales process to understand customer needs, business requirements, and success metrics, ensuring exceeding expectations in delivery and solution development.
- Identify opportunities for new services by understanding potential new use cases and articulating business value in upselling or extending services.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding Professional Services and Training bookings and revenue targets as the Engagement Manager in assigned areas.
- Articulate relevant customer success stories, services offerings, and metrics demonstrating value to customers.
- Consult with clients to analyze engagement scope, requirements, time, cost, and benefits, estimating and developing statement of work documents as necessary.
- Drive resolution of delivery challenges, address resource contentions, scoping issues, and manage expectations.
Requirements:
- Strong fundamental knowledge of Big Data Platforms Implementation from technology, operations, and security/governance perspectives. Production-level experience preferred.
- Proven experience selling services offerings at implementation, advisory, education, and change management capacities, including senior customer-facing roles requiring influencing, validating, negotiating, understanding, and execution for both business and technology audiences.
- Consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions.
- Experience owning projects/programs in agile scrum/kanban delivery methodology and waterfall methodology.
- Strong problem-solving skills addressing customer pain points using modern technologies.
- Excellence in presentation skills, providing proposals enforcing good project governance and driving scalable delivery practices for internal and external executives.
- High-level orchestration skills aligning internal and external stakeholders when proposing large initiatives.
- Strong service delivery and program management skills synthesizing customer success outcomes into well-structured program plans delivering against such outcomes.
- Prior experience in project/program proposal to customers at Consulting, SI, Software/Cloud Vendor highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related educational background.

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
