Description
The Client Development & Strategy Manager is a pivotal position within Gucci, aimed at accelerating the brand's clienteling strategies in market. Reporting to the Client Development & Strategy Associate Director, s/he will be responsible for strategy building, analysis and reports of clienteling performance as to define the business opportunity.
This role requires developing client engagement strategy to drive local growth, in line with the brand and company's strategy and reflecting the local ambition. S/he must also solidly support Client Engagement Team to build and manage Japan strategy roadmap.
Key responsibilities include:
- In line with the brand and company's strategy and reflecting the local ambition, s/he develops client engagement strategy to drive local growth.
- Solid support Client Engagement Team to build and manage Japan strategy roadmap.
- Closely working with each teams within the department, s/he ensures client development strategy is translated into efficient and effective plans that will elevate our image and relations with clients, and to meet the target KPIs.
- Ensures KPI setting in conjunction with HQ and Retail teams, be responsible for tracking and deep analysis of the performance, shares with stakeholders to define the opportunity with business relevancy.
- Works closely with Retail, MD, and Digital teams to ensure seamless engagement with omni-channel clients.
- Pursues external collaboration opportunities and new ways of engagement in order to foster new client acquisition and to develop stronger client base.
Requirements: Key behavioral competencies - basics
- High communication skills, both written and verbal forms (Japanese and English)
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Analytics skills, and proficient in using database and office software
- Biz acumen in marketing, retail, hospitality, and/or customer-related businesses
- Insights and consultancy expertise, a plus
- Luxury and/or fashion experience, a plus
- Agile, self-started and open-minded
