Job Description
We're looking for an in-house Translator dedicated to produce high-quality translations and use strong linguistics skills in an international setting. You might be the language-expert we're looking for.
Hybrid workstyle (Office: Tokyo or Osaka)
- Translation of clinical trial/medical documentation as well as business and technical documents pertaining to the activities of company departments
- Customization of translations to meet regulatory requirements
- Editing, proofreading and review of translated documents
- Developing translation templates of routine/standard documentation
- Acting as an interdepartmental liaison in matters related to the editing and review of translated documents
- Handling translating vendors, if required
- Interpreting at meetings/conferences, if required
Qualifications
- University degree (Preferably from Life Science or Linguistics)
- Any professional translation certificates or training
- Hands-on experience in English ⇔ Japanese translation
- Medical & healthcare translating experience is a plus
- Business level in English and top-level communicative competence in Japanese
- Strong written skills; excellent grammar and spelling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Attention to detail, ability to provide accurate and complete translations
