【職務内容】
PlayStationのゲームコントローラに使用される最先端カスタムLSIの開発・評価の業務を担っていただきます。
入社後はこれまでのキャリア、スキルセットに応じ、マイコン、内部バス、各種ペリフェラル群(USB, I2C, ADC…)の全般的な領域、加えて、システムに関する検討・評価などの業務を担当いただくことを想定しています。
【具体的には】
①LSIの仕様策定
商品企画、ハードウェア、ソフトウェア、ゲームデベロッパーの皆様の要望を聞きながら
「数年後の最高なLSI(性能面/コスト面)」を想像し仕様を決めます
②開発設計
LSIベンダーへの発注および共同設計・開発を行います
③試作製品の検証評価
試作品のチップが「私たちの所望する機能を満たしているか」「想定していた性能を出すことができるか」を確認します
④量産支援
※仕様策定・検証評価にあたっては、キャッシュ・メモリ・バスなど、Hardwareをlow levelで理解し、論理的にアプローチを行っていただきます。
※LSIの検証評価にあたってはC/C++等のプログラムを行っていただきます。
多くの世界トップクラスのLSI Design Houseと共同で最先端のアーキテクチャ、IP(CPU、GPU、AI/ML、Codec、高速I/F、電力制御、Security)、半導体プロセスを用いた、非常に競争力の高いLSI開発を行っています。

【組織・職場紹介】
PlayStation5、PlayStation VR2をはじめとするSIE製品の根幹をなすカスタムLSIを開発しています。
チームはLSIアーキテクチャ、LSI設計検証、HW設計、SW開発など多岐にわたる分野のエキスパートで構成され、日々多くの議論と検討を重ねながら開発を進めています。

【求められる実務経験・スキル】
■必須(MUST)
・CPU/DSP、メモリー、マイコン等のハードウェアシステム知識
・C/C++プログラミングの開発経験
・以下いずれかの領域の開発業務経験3年以上
- CPU/マイコンもしくは各種I/F(USB, I2C, PWM, ADC, SPI等)のLSI設計・検証評価経験
- 組込SW、Firmware、デバイスドライバーソフトウェア開発経験
・英語の仕様書を読みこなすことができること。英語でのメールやりとりができること。
■歓迎(WANT)
・電力、アナログ特性(ADCなど)に関する知見、経験
・英語での技術的な会話や議論を行えると、活躍の幅を広げていただくことが可能です。
*一例として、スマートフォン、各種電化製品のSoC仕様検討、評価経験などあれば想定業務として近いと想定されます
