As an Associate Director, Structuring, you will provide structuring support for Japan markets products development, drive deal origination together with Markets sales, Relationship Managers and trading. You are expected to provide support to the local team to capture opportunities and leverage on sales coverage to deliver revenue via structured products, as well as to provide day-to-day support on transaction management for upcoming structured products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the team to drive market revenue growth in Japan across each asset classes from the sales coverage in Corporates and FI.
- Provide helps on live deal execution for upcoming structured credit product, including required day-to-day operational tasks pre/post transaction for such products.
- Increase penetration in rates / FX / Credit products and assets classes in Japan by interacting with sales and clients.
- Improve stakeholder engagement and target new client business by providing implementing structuring initiatives and promoting the structuring offering.

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience with structured credit products, such as repackage note and loan.
- Understanding of operational process for pre/post deal execution.
- Demonstrated analytical, technical and delivery (verbal and written) skills.
- Resilient and a team player.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal and fluent in both English and Japanese as the role will be communicating with stakeholders both local and global.
- Tertiary qualified in a numeric based discipline.
