We are looking for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management for materials and equipment used in the development and construction of renewable energy projects, including solar, biomass, and small hydro. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project timelines, cost management, and supplier strategy for a growing portfolio of sustainable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
Procure major equipment and materials required for renewable energy power plants (e.g., solar panels, inverters, biomass boilers, control systems)
Lead supplier negotiations on cost, delivery schedules, and contract terms aligned with project and business requirements
Develop procurement strategies and plans based on project timelines and demand forecasts
Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, and legal teams to ensure contract alignment and smooth execution
Evaluate supplier performance and initiate process improvements or corrective actions when necessary

Required Experience
Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in procurement or purchasing of industrial/energy-related products or systems
Familiarity with procurement-related legal frameworks (e.g., subcontract law, contract compliance)
Track record of supplier management, cost negotiation, and strategic sourcing
Experience working on outsourced contracts and import/export transactions
Background in renewable energy, heavy industry, or large infrastructure projects is a plus

Preferred Experience
Experience in procurement within the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, biomass, wind, small hydro)
Knowledge of electrical or mechanical component sourcing
Experience negotiating directly with overseas manufacturers without trading companies
Familiarity with supplier performance reviews, contract management, and international logistics
Experience managing outsourced production, inspection, or engineering services

Compensation
¥8,000,000 – ¥12,000,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
