【Mission】
The company is a marketing solutions company that provides marketing tools and operational support in a one-stop manner, accompanying clients until they achieve their desired results. They operate multiple proprietary services, including a tool for maximizing Web and app revenue.
The company's core service allows marketers to facilitate personalized communication with individual customers, such as delivering push notifications or displaying in-app messages to users who meet specific criteria. To achieve this, it is crucial to process the massive amounts of data sent from the client's services in real-time, continuously update end-user attribute information, behavior data, and information on whether they meet targeting criteria, and make this data accessible in a user-friendly manner for various features.
The mission of this position is to provide the core common infrastructure and libraries that enable these product functions, thereby improving the development experience and productivity of the feature development teams, and ultimately maximizing the value delivered to customers.
【Responsibilities】
・Building and operating streaming data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka Streams.
・Building and operating batch data pipelines using technologies such as BigQuery and Embulk.
・Developing and operating common infrastructure and libraries utilized by feature development teams for feature development, and providing support for their usage.
・Architectural design and technical support for feature development teams.

【 Requirements】
【Required】
• Experience in application development and operations using Ruby or Java
• Ability to quickly catch up on key knowledge required for work, such as new programming languages, frameworks, and middleware, within six months
• Experience in developing and operating medium-sized applications (as a guideline, 10,000 lines of production code or more) or equivalent microservice clusters
• Business Japanese
【Preferred】
• Experience developing and operating Kafka Streams applications
• Experience building and operating application systems using AWS
• Experience developing and operating high-traffic services
【Ideal Applicants】
• Takes a persistent approach to tackling even seemingly complex technical challenges
• Approaches implementation and code reviews not superficially, but by thoroughly understanding the surrounding code and documentation through hands-on verification
• Willingly tackles tedious tasks like documenting, refactoring complex code, removing redundant code, and updating libraries
• Actively communicates with other teams to improve and promote the infrastructure and libraries developed by the team
