• Act as primary risk manager for trading desk, overseeing all aspects of market risk management.
• Perform risk analysis in Japan Business using various risk metrics, including VaR, Greeks, and stress testing.
• Ensure daily VaR sign-off for regulatory capital calculation.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to highlight market risk to senior management.
• Develop and enhance risk infrastructure, conduct comprehensive risk assessments of new products, and engage in risk management of Japan Business.
Requirements:
• Experience in Market Risk Management, preferably covering Equity or Credit trading desk.
• Knowledge of Financial products and Financial modeling.
• Understanding of trading and risk management systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English (minimum fluent in one, business-level in the other).
Preferred:
• IT skills/Programming skills.
