Overview
The Due Diligence Researcher is responsible for conducting in-depth research on corporations and their executives, ensuring a first-class customer experience. This includes credit, criminal, and database checks while utilizing available resources professionally and efficiently. The role requires strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
デュー・ディリジェンス・リサーチャーは、企業および経営者に関する詳細な調査を実施し、リスク評価や意思決定をサポートする役割を担います。主な業務として、信用情報、犯罪歴、規制データベースのチェックを行い、各種リソースを活用しながら、正確かつ効率的に調査を進めます。会社のポリシー、手順、およびレポート基準を厳格に遵守し、最高水準のカスタマーエクスペリエンスを提供することが求められます。
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough background research on companies and executives, including financial, legal, and reputational aspects.
- Perform credit, criminal, and regulatory database checks using internal and external sources.
- Prepare detailed, high-quality reports based on research findings within designated timeframes.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders or clients.
Collaborate with team members to improve research processes and maintain efficiency.
企業および経営者の背景調査を実施し、財務、法務、評判リスクなどを分析する
- 内部および外部の情報源を活用し、信用情報、犯罪歴、規制データベースのチェックを行う
- 調査結果を基に、期限内に詳細で質の高いレポートを作成する
- 調査結果を社内の関係者およびクライアントに明確かつ専門的に報告する
- チームメンバーと協力し、調査プロセスの改善や業務の効率化を図る
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data.
- High School diploma or equivalent required ( bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred ).
- Effective written communication skills in Japanese and/or English (additional languages a plus).
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy under time constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in due diligence, corporate investigations, compliance, or risk assessment.
- Proficiency in using online databases and public records.
- Experience in public data collection, analysis, and verificaton.
- Previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
- The motivation to learn new things and follow verbal and written instructions .
No prior experience required (training will be provided for suitable candidates)
