Job Summary
- An experienced Project Manager candidates who have professional advisory backgrounds, such as growth strategy formulation, market research, M&A advisory, commercial due diligence, financial modeling, industry analysis, etc.
- The team works across industries and countries. Sample projects include business due diligence and post-merger integration of an automotive part manufacturer in Thailand, buy-side financial advisory on acquiring Malaysian non-bank financial institutions, M&A target scouting of Singaporean medical equipment distributors, sell-side financial advisory on global fundraising for a smoking cessation device company, business turnaround strategy formulation of a restaurant chain operator in China, and growth driver identification in the automation industry in Indonesia.
- You will be assigned projects that fit your profile and experience in advisory.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is to manage junior consultants research and analysis output, create a convincing story for the clients corporate strategy, and design reports in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Project Manager will also be expected to manage presentations to the clients senior management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of working experience in strategy consulting firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Strategy&, Monitor, Kearney, Arthur D. Little, or Roland Berger), investment banks, and M&A-boutique financial advisory firms to be qualified for Manager or upper position.
- Must be Japanese national.
- Professional level of Japanese and English is mandatory.
- Candidates with a strategy consulting (investment banking) background who wish to explore a career in investment banking (strategy consulting) in fast-growing Southeast Asia would be ideal.
