WWT APAC is experiencing significant growth currently and has an opportunity available for a Japan Sales Leader to support our growing Japan market as part of the Asia Pacific Sales team.
This position will be focused on achieving goals by selling World Wide Technology's suite of products and services solutions through multiple OEM's including Cisco, EMC, HP, NetApp, VMware and Citrix.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being the Sales Leader for leading and driving all sales related activities for our Japan business.
- Positioning technology solutions and services to Enterprise and Service Provider clientele.
- Ability to effectively profile target accounts and work with our current flag ship accounts.
- Professional networking to build relationships with executive and decision-making managers at targeted clients.
- Working with an inside sales team in coordinating various sales activities.
- Working as part of the Asia Pacific Commercial Sales team to provide inputs for strategies in Japan and at APAC level.
- Maintaining client and OEM relationships.
- Continuing education on evolving digital transformation, hybrid cloud and security trends to educate our clients on WWT's global best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or Masters' degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of relevant sales experience, including sales experience with large enterprise local and/or multi-national customers.
- Ideal experience includes solution selling including Digital Transformation, Cloud/Hybrid-Cloud and Security.
- Candidates must have a successful track record of selling hardware/services to Fortune 500 clients.
- Self-starter and someone who wants to be part of a growing business from Japan globally.
- Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to recommend and position technical solutions to solve customer business challenges.
- Critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
- Understanding the technical challenges and demands of networking communication, storage, and virtualization.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
