Department Overview

This department is responsible for the recruitment of all new graduate positions at Rakuten Group, Inc., with the exception of engineering roles. Our mission is to recruit outstanding students from all over the world, not just domestically, but internationally as well. New graduate recruitment at Rakuten is significant in scale, and since new graduate hiring itself is positioned as a core strategy for talent acquisition, there are many opportunities to interact with top management, making it a highly rewarding job.

Working with HR not only in Japan but also in overseas group companies, you will lead global Lead the global HR strategy in cooperation with the HR departments of group companies not only in Japan but also overseas. You will manage a wide range of stakeholders and promote large scale projects.

Position Details

In the New Graduate Recruitment Group, which conducts new graduate recruitment for hundreds of general career track positions annually, you will be broadly responsible for everything from recruitment strategy planning and execution to organizational management, progress tracking, and reporting.

Management of New Graduate Recruitment Activities and Recruiter Management
- Managing overall progress and promoting measures in response to challenges.
- Managing the activities of individual recruiters.

Recruitment Strategy Planning and Execution
- Planning mid- to long-term recruitment strategies.
- Setting goals and KPIs, and managing progress (You will formulate next fiscal year's recruitment targets and specific KPIs, managing progress in real-time. Based on data analysis, you will implement an optimal PDCA cycle. You will accurately grasp complex progress in large-scale recruitment and control it strategically.).
- Planning and executing annual initiatives (Including strengthening recruitment branding, improving the selection process, etc.).
- Budget management and current situation analysis.
- Planning and executing recruitment branding strategies.

Work Environment

The assigned department consists of a team of a dozen or so members.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Recruiter experience at a company that hires 100+ people annually.
- Experience managing subordinates (number of direct reports not specified).

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience using English in a business context.
- Experience in process design and quantitative management.
