Role Description: Reservations Agent (Tokyo Office)

Work Format: On-site (Tokyo)
We are seeking a highly motivated Reservations Agent to join our MSC Cruises Tokyo office. In this role, you will manage cruise bookings, support guests throughout the reservation process, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will also act as a key communication link between internal teams and clients, ensuring accurate, efficient operations. Receptionist duties will also be part of the role as needed.
Because this role involves supporting customers from Southeast Asia, fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) is essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle cruise reservations accurately and efficiently using MSC systems.
• Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and support a smooth booking process.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and correct reservation handling.
• Assist with front-desk and receptionist duties, welcoming guests and managing basic office tasks.
• Maintain detailed records, ensure data accuracy, and follow company procedures.
• Support administrative operations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Reservations operations and Customer Service.
• Excellent communication, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with receptionist duties or front-office roles.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) is required; additional languages (e.g., Japanese, English) are a plus.
• Comfort with reservation systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is advantageous.
• Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or customer service industries is preferred.**
