Business Overview


The Marketing Division is responsible for expanding the Rakuten Group's Membership Value and Ecosystem, which includes more than 70 diverse services.

Operating as a cross-functional unit, we drive strategy and execution in brand, creative, marketing, and membership areas across the organization.

Department Overview


The Group Marketing Department serves as a centralized marketing organization that promotes efficiency and optimization across all marketing functions within the Rakuten Group.

The Family Ecosystem Engagement Section is a specialized team dedicated to the family demographic. Our mission is to empower families by providing parents with optimal Rakuten service recommendations.

To maximize the Rakuten Ecosystem, we collaborate with various business units to plan and implement initiatives tailored to the needs of families.


This role offers the opportunity to develop and execute optimal marketing strategies for the family segment by leveraging the diverse services of the Rakuten Group in a cross-functional manner.

By utilizing company-wide data and resources to improve customer engagement and acquire new customers, you can directly contribute to the growth of the Rakuten Ecosystem.

Furthermore, collaboration with multiple business units will allow you to acquire diverse skills and knowledge, accelerating your professional growth.

Position Details

Contribute to the overall Membership Value enhancement of the Rakuten Group.
Develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new family customers and improving engagement.
Collaborate with multiple business units to plan and implement initiatives tailored to the needs of the family segment.
Promote the PDCA cycle based on performance measurement.
Identify issues and propose solutions through data analysis.

Mandatory Qualifications

Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and drive projects forward while engaging stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong planning and execution skills to achieve goals.
Ability to implement the PDCA cycle and continuously improve processes.
Excellent communication skills to interact smoothly with internal and external stakeholders.

Basic SQL skills
