We are seeking an experienced
Senior IT Expert / System Engineer
to support a major global leader in the
food service / F&B operations industry
. This role plays a critical part in managing Japan-specific IT systems, driving system improvements, and leading digital initiatives in collaboration with global teams across the UK and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects end-to-end, from requirements to go-live and hypercare.
- Manage both
local systems
(Payroll, FoodIT) and
global platforms
(Infor WFM, Time-to-Eat). - Oversee user access, interfaces, and system configurations aligned with Japan-specific regulations.
- Run workshops with business teams and vendors, producing process documentation and functional specs.
- Support retail-related operations such as
procurement, sales reporting, inventory, and HR stamping data
. - Serve as the primary technical contact for store operations and business teams.
Requirements
- Strong IT project management experience and hands-on application/system expertise.
- Understanding of
retail, FMCG, or food-related business processes
is a plus. - Experience with finance/procurement systems is beneficial.
- Japanese: Native or Business level / English: Business level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multinational teams.
