Job Title: Sales and Business Development
We are seeking an experienced sales and business development professional to join our team at {company}. This is a field-based role that requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to develop and execute detailed sales plans.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Identify new business expansion opportunities, including distributors and agents, and develop plans to realize these opportunities
- Provide regular updates and forecasts on market and sales results and trends
Business Acumen:
- Set and manage sales targets and budgets
- Manage sales and operational expenses (opex) ratio
- Create annual strategic plans for sales channels
Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and senior management of distributors/agents
- Build effective working relationships with Stryker staff both internally and externally in Japan
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a multinational company in medical/pharmaceutical/sales/distribution roles
- Proven knowledge and success in sales/distribution processes and applied selling/commercial skills
Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivation for honest leadership and tackling business issues
- Experience in developing business cases or engaging in intensive discussions with the business side
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and manufacturing for medical devices
Requirements:
