Sr. Strategic Account Manager

Ambitious and results-driven Sr. Strategic Account Manager sought to develop and execute a territory strategy and plan focused on new customer acquisition for Amazon Business Japan (ABJP). The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience, proficiency in analyzing data and best practices, and the ability to manage complex business relationships at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy and plan focused on new customer acquisition
  • Penetrate customers' key stakeholders with a holistic view of their company's overall operations
  • Dive into the current state of their procurement business, creating solutions and/or work-arounds to optimize indirect purchases
  • Manage procurement transformation with Amazon Business as an account leader, leading internal team members as needed

About the Role:

This role requires a broad understanding of customers' businesses, making a significant impact by leveraging what Amazon can bring across the business unit. Flexibility is key, with opportunities for domestic business travel and a highly flexible working environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Experience managing and growing complex business relationships at scale
  • University degree
  • English proficiency (business level recommended)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems, and programs

Estimated Salary: ¥15,000,000 - ¥20,000,000 per year
