Job Overview

IDC is the premier global provider of market intelligence, advisory services, and events for the information technology, telecommunications, and consumer technology markets. With over 1,100 analysts worldwide, IDC offers global, regional, and local expertise on technology and industry opportunities and trends in more than 110 countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Japan office space
  • Handle incoming calls and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Organize and track mail/couriers
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment
  • Support employee workplace health and safety
  • Oversee office supply inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to address office needs
  • Track office utilisation and consumables spending
  • Provide administrative support to employees
  • Facilitate internal meetings and events, and onboarding for new hires

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of office administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail and proactive attitude
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Language Skills: Native Japanese, Basic English

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
