Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Mechanical Engineer
to join our medical device development team. The role involves end-to-end mechanical design, verification, and documentation of medical devices, with a strong focus on precision, compliance, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices
- Perform design verification and validation in line with medical device standards
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation (drawings, specifications, BOMs)
- Design components using
3D CAD tools (SolidWorks) - Prepare and review test plans, test reports, and verification documents
- Support molded product design, including material selection and manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, quality, manufacturing)
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, quality, and performance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum
5+ years of hands-on experience using SolidWorks - Strong experience in
molded product design
(plastic components) - Proven background in
mechanical design
for complex products - Experience creating structured design and verification documentation
- Familiarity with test report preparation and engineering documentation standards
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices preferred)
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in medical device development
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM/DFA)
- Exposure to compliance-driven engineering environments
