Job Description: Mechanical Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Support battery module design by collaborating with engineering teams to ensure functionality and performance.
- Implement feedback from clients and stakeholders to refine design processes and outcomes.
- Conduct battery design validation to ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.
- Analyze customer and marketing needs to inform design decisions and product enhancements.
- Identify technical risks associated with existing and new designs and propose mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to product development and design processes.
- Validate prototypes and simulation-based solutions to ensure they meet operational standards and requirements.
- Provide cross-functional technical support to various teams including manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
- Track issues and their evolution throughout all phases of the design and manufacturing process.
- Utilize 3D/2D CAD software for modeling and drafting to develop accurate design representations.
- Act as the mechanical referent in manufacturing and design processes to guide the technical team.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (3D/2D) for design and modeling purposes.
- Strong understanding of battery technologies and design validation processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative engineering solutions.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in battery module design or similar roles is highly advantageous.
- Experience in customer needs analysis and technical risk identification.
- Hands-on experience in prototype validation and documentation maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
