Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an entry- to mid-level Mechanical Engineer to join a leading engineering project in Japan supporting federal government and military operations, and other projects across Japan. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who are excited to work in a global environment, contribute to high-impact projects, and experience life abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components for government or military-related infrastructure.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, and systems engineers.
Conduct technical analyses, prepare reports, and support testing and validation activities.
Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and defense standards and project requirements.
Participate in on-site inspections, quality control, and documentation of project activities.
Provide technical support throughout the project life cycle from design through implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum1-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
Prior experience working with or supporting federal government or military projects is required.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design processes, and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Must have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (for federal project clearance).
Japanese language skills preferred but not required.
