As a key department in Rakuten Ichiba, EC Consulting Department drives the growth of new store openings, sales strategies, and marketing plans for each product on the platform.
The team seeks to strengthen its staffing structure to provide stronger support for stores and uncover innovative ideas that transcend conventional methods.
Responsibilities include sharing and setting sales targets with stores, conducting market analysis, proposing solutions to achieve sales targets, analyzing figures such as page access and customer spending, and supporting the development of original products and private brands.
This role requires effective communication with corporate representatives, decision-makers, and store operation managers, handling around 100 stores per person. The sales style is 7:3 office work to face-to-face meetings, with daily communication via email, phone, and online meetings.
Work environment features five sections classified by product genre and area, with a flat organizational culture and predominantly young staff in their 20s and 30s.
Mandatory qualifications include at least two years of working experience and sales experience or sales management experience in the distribution/retail industry.
Desired qualifications include experience in proposal/solution/consulting type sales and merchandising and sales management in the distribution or retail industry.
Additional requirements include a TOEIC score exceeding 800 or similar English ability, proof of eligibility, and potential for domestic and overseas business travel and relocation.
