Description
Rakuten Ichiba, one of Japan's largest EC sites, has grown since its establishment in 1997 with over 57,000 stores and a large user base.
The EC Consulting Department proposes new store openings, consults on sales strategies, and develops marketing plans for each product on Rakuten Ichiba.
We are seeking to strengthen our staffing structure to provide stronger support for our stores and seek new ideas that are not bound by conventional ways of doing things.
Job Responsibilities
- Share and set sales targets with stores
- Market analysis
- Propose solutions to achieve the sales target, such as attracting customers through advertisements and campaigns during the sales season
- Analyze figures such as website traffic and customer spending
- Support the development of original products and private brands
- Promote services offered by Group companies
Daily communication with stores is handled via email, phone, and online meetings. Face-to-face meetings occur periodically to discuss budgets and propose mid- to long-term sales measures.
Work Environment
The department is divided into five sections classified by product genre and area.
We are a team of young people in their 20s and 30s, promoting flat communication.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Sales experience (both corporate and individual) or sales management experience in the distribution or retail industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in proposal-based, solution-based, or consulting-based sales
- Merchandising/sales management experience in the distribution/retail industry
Additional Information
Recruitment is open at various locations throughout Japan, including national transfers and domestic and overseas business travel and relocation.
TOEIC score exceeding 800 or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country is required. If no evidence is available, taking an IP test during the selection process is required.
Salary: Estimated salary range based on the title, job description, and location is ¥250,000 - ¥400,000 per month.
