Job Description
We are seeking an SEO specialist to maximize SEO traffic to Rakuten Ichiba through the planning, promotion, and implementation of SEO measures. The role involves contributing to the growth of the business by planning SEO measures based on the business strategy and driving and implementing the measures by coordinating with related developments such as Tech Unit and Creative Unit.
The successful candidate will be involved in various tasks including:
- Planning strategies and measures based on various surveys and data analysis
- Definition of project requirements, proposal, and acquisition of approval
- Project promotion and management in cooperation with related departments such as Tech and Creative Units
- Effect measurement and propose improvement actions based on the access analysis after release
- Monitoring/analysis/problem extraction of inflow condition
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled SEO specialist with:
- SEO work experience as a consultant or in-house PIC
- Experience in planning and proposing SEO measures
- Experience in technical search engine optimization (technical SEO)
- Experience in project management
- Practical experience in access analysis using Google Analytics, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in:
- SEO work on EC site or large-scale site
- Formulating SEO strategies
- Content planning, production, and management
- Team management
- Extracting and analyzing data using SQL such as BigQuery
- Development and restrictions experience of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- UI/UX design
Working Conditions
This position is located at Rakuten Crimson House, Tokyo, Japan. Fluency in both English and Japanese is required, with a minimum TOEIC score of 800 or equivalent level of English ability.
