Q1:これまでどのような業務に携わってきたか?
レノバに入社して3回目のお引越し(転職)となり、ようやくアットホームな職場を見つけたと感じています。
レノバ入社前は、銀行の投資部門で約13年間、国内外投資(PE・NPL)及び融資(PF)の実行と管理、資本率改善計画の政策と実行に携わってきました。その後、銀行を離れ、私立学校法人にて高校設立プロジェクトやITを活用した業務改善計画にも携わってきました。
2024年にレノバに入社後は、国外プロジェクトのファイナンス業務を担当しています。
さまざまなスキルセットを持ったメンバーと一緒にチーム一丸となり、お互いを支えながら課題を一つずつ解決し、プロジェクトの実現に向けて日々取り組んでいます。これまでの経験を活かして、ビジネスリスクの分析や解決策の提案、融資交渉など、ファイナンス面でチームをサポートしています。
「ファイナンス」と聞くと、特定のプロジェクトについて金融機関にレポートを提出し、評価を受けて資金調達(借入)を行うというイメージを持たれるかもしれません。もちろん、この業務も活動の一部ではありますが、レノバの特徴は「開発」にあります。 開発会社として、まだ道筋がはっきりしていない段階のプロジェクトからスタートし、進めていきます。何も決まっていない段階から始まるため、可能性は無限大です。
その中で、開発を進める過程で予期しない出来事が高い確率で発生します。内容は様々で、時に悪影響があることもありますが、逆に収益性を大きく向上させる要素もあり、まさに何があるか分からない「ビックリボックス」と言える状況です。その際、技術チームと協力しながら、普段関わらない設計や技術的な課題などにも取り組み、プロジェクトを形にしていきます。
また、レノバは新たな市場や事業に挑戦しており、それぞれに異なるチャレンジが待ち受けています。レノバでは、自分のアイディアや提案が歓迎される土壌があり、ある程度の裁量を持って挑戦できる環境が整っています。チーム一丸となって情報を収集し、意見交換を行いながら理解を深め、プロジェクトの開発を進めていきます。
Q2:レノバを選んだ理由は?
大学時代、米国エネルギーベンチャーキャピタルでインターンを経験して以来、エネルギー分野に関心がありました。その後、銀行業で培ったスキルを私立学校法人で活かし、周囲の人々に付加価値を提供する喜びを感じ、それ以来、他者への「価値」を提供すること、もしくは提供する業務に携わる環境を求め続けていたところ、運命的にレノバと出会いました。
そして、入社の決め手は「人」でした。入社前は、どのような環境で、どのような方々と仕事をするのか分かりませんでしたが、面接官とのコミュニケーションや質問の内容から、「チーム」の意識が非常に高く、また、面接官同士の会話でもお互いを尊重し合いながら事業を推進していく姿勢を強く感じました。実際に入社してみて、その「チーム」の理解は確信と変わり、日々仲間と共にその場を最大限楽しみながらプロジェクトの成功を目指しています。
また、「チーム」の幅はプロジェクトチームに限定されず、レノバ全社員が「チーム」として一丸となっています。全員がオープンにコミュニケーションを取れる環境が整っており、時間があれば雑談に花を咲かせることもしばしばあります。
Q3:レノバの特徴は?
私は「人」と「人の事業に対する姿勢」だと感じています。
もちろん、再生可能エネルギーに特化した事業展開や、技術革新・高度なノウハウの蓄積も重要な要素ですが、その土台となっているのは、プロジェクトに積極的に関わり、開発や事業の推進に情熱を注ぐ「人」です。メンバーはそれぞれ異なるバックグラウンドを持っていますが、全員がプロジェクトの成功に向けて独自の視点を提供し、互いに高め合い、助け合っています。役割分担はありますが、その枠にとらわれず、お互いの意見を尊重し、アイデアを交換しながらプロジェクトの成功に向けて取り組んでいます。
リモートという働き方がありながらも、1on1での積極的なコミュニケーションを会社が推奨している点も大事なところだと思います。
レノバの人材育成は部門の特徴に合わせて行われますが、社員全員が共通して意識していることであり、私自身の目標としても、強力な人材体制の構築が不可欠だと考え人材育成に力を入れています。
