Tokyo Amazon Japan G.K. Full time

Amazon Marketplace and Global Selling has been the driving force behind Amazon's growth over the past years. We are in search of a curious, self-driven, innovative, and highly motivated leader to head the development of Global Selling products for the Marketplace in JP.

The Global Selling Senior Product Manager is responsible for the product vision, development planning, and roadmap management for programs enhancing our Seller Business. This role involves close collaboration with Business teams in China, Korea, EU, US, and India, as well as tech teams in Japan, and global Fee, Selection, and Seller Growth teams in the US.

This position is strategically vital, requiring the appointed leader to drive innovation, tool adoption, and significant business growth contributions. We seek a candidate who excels in autonomy, thrives in ambiguity, and can build trust and influence at a senior level.

The ideal candidate must have a strategic mindset, strong business judgment, and the ability to work closely with tech teams to shape technology roadmaps and guide development through Agile methodologies.

Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with key stakeholders such as category leaders, various product and tech teams, marketing, legal, and account management teams.

  • Envision product direction to reduce discrepancies in OOC to Japan Seller launch and Selection recruitment compared to the US.
  • Influence global technology roadmaps to prioritize Japan product requests.
  • Drive automation and scalability using technological solutions.
  • Collaborate with business teams for effective product adoption.
  • Establish tracking mechanisms for product development/program management.
  • Work with Finance partners for financial analysis and sustainability assessments.
  • Analyze seller recruitment products and bottleneck metrics.
  • Develop scalable solutions for faster Seller launches in Japan.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of product or program management, business development, or tech experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in roadmap strategy and definition
  • End-to-end product delivery experience
  • Product feature delivery experience
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience with technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience influencing senior leadership with data insights
  • Working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
