Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive growth and expansion of our Cortex business in Japan, focusing on AI-powered security operations platforms.
About the Role: As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external customers, collaborating with account sales teams, and mapping customer strategies and engagement to drive Cortex business growth. You will also communicate with clients and partners to address strategic and tactical challenges, maintain knowledge of industry trends and target market, and develop market strategies and goals for the Cortex product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expansion of Cortex business in Japan
- Build and maintain relationships with external customers, including account sales teams and partners
- Communicate with clients and partners to address strategic and tactical challenges
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and target market
- Develop market strategies and goals for the Cortex product portfolio
- Drive sales cycles from initial contact to procurement, with a deep understanding of sales processes and accurate sales forecasting
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in selling EDR/XDR endpoint security solutions (including security operations, SIEM, SOAR, incident response, threat management, AI/MI)
- Ability to develop and execute account plans, strategies, and execution
- Ability to collaborate with sales engineers and cross-functional teams in high-growth environments
- Experience working with IT security vendors
- Passion for customer-focused approach and ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and dynamism
- Understanding of channel partners and channel-centric market approach
- Native-level Japanese language ability, understanding of Japanese business flow, and practical experience
- Basic English communication skills
