Department Overview
We build the growth foundation for Rakuten's global businesses.
Main responsibilities:
- Management of existing overseas business portfolios
- Support for group's key strategic businesses
- New business development
You will work closely with the management team and have opportunities for training and growth.
Mandatory Qualifications
Experience in management, business planning, project planning, or consulting, preferably with a focus on overseas subsidiaries.
Fluent English and Japanese language skills.

Job Responsibilities
Based on your abilities, you may be responsible for:
- Management and governance enhancement of existing overseas business portfolios
- Support for growth of overseas businesses (PJ, M&A, PMI support)
- Policymaking for overseas business governance
- Operations support for overseas business (approval acquisition, operation support for important meetings)
- Support for key strategic businesses for the group
- New business development
Salary Range
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
