KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin (approx. 50%)

Monkey 47 Gin, Altos Tequila, Del Maguey Mezcal
Role Purpose
Be the face of KI NO BI and Specialty Brands in Japan, building brand awareness, advocacy, and engagement with bartenders, trade partners, and consumers — especially in the Modern ON-trade channel.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Activation & Visibility (ON-trade)
Visit bars & restaurants to introduce brands and secure menu listings
Build strong relationships with key accounts
Drive brand activations in collaboration with sales & marketing teams
Support guest bartender shifts, influencer activations, and sponsorships
Brand Education
Lead tastings, seminars, and brand events (online & offline)
Educate bartenders, consumers, trade partners, and media
Stay aligned with global brand strategy and best practices
Business Support
Support OFF-trade sales activities (pitches, seminars, sampling)
Research competitor activity
Track performance and report monthly learnings
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality
Experience in the Japanese alcohol/bar market is a plus
Strong interest in spirits, wine, food, and bar culture
Languages
Native-level Japanese (able to lead seminars & Q&A)
Business-level English
Ideal Profile
Strong public speaking & storytelling skills
Energetic, engaging, and professional
Relationship-builder with an entrepreneurial mindset
Prior experience as a bartender or knowledge of alcohol
