About Us

Bjak, a leading Information Technology and Services company, is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Country Head for Japan. This leadership role will play a pivotal part in driving our strategic growth initiatives and strengthening our presence in the Japanese market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for Japan, aligning with global and regional objectives to drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead initiatives to expand market share, identify new business opportunities, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in Japan.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global standards.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture that reflects the company's values.
  • Drive financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting for the Japan business unit, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty in the Japanese market.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and government entities to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (6+ years) in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Country Head or General Manager in a multinational company.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Japanese market, business culture, and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex business landscapes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of representing the company at various levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
