Position Details

Mission

Project management at HR organizational or HR related project

Example

Build a personnel strategy in line with the business strategy

Transfer of cross-group HR operations to attain HR strategies

Establish a shared payroll process to improve operational efficiency for the entire group

Optimize the human resources relocation plan across Rakuten groups with coordinating secondment / transfer in domestically and globally

Establish a labor management system for Rakuten, Inc. and the entire group

In addition to the main project, you have opportunities to join other HR projects flexibly depending on your specialty and experience.

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Project manager for HR planning

Experienced group reorganization of a large-scale company consisting of multiple businesses

Experience setting personnel issues to attain business strategy

Experienced in group-wide personnel strategy planning

Experience in planning how to measure the effects of personnel measures

Experience in discussing with executives at the board meeting and finalize the decision as a company

Experienced negotiations with internal and external stakeholders and unify opinions beyond conflict of interests

2. Project manager for HR operation

Experienced group reorganization of a large-scale company consisting of multiple businesses

Experienced business re-organization among HQ HR, Business HRs, and affiliated company HRs.

Experienced in redesigning HR operations for the entire group

Experience in planning how to measure the effect of improving the efficiency of HR operations and operating a continuous improvement cycle

Experience in creating business process diagrams and operation manuals for introducing new business processes

Experienced negotiations with internal and external stakeholders with conflicting interests

3. Project manager for HR shared service project

Experienced sharing the personnel operations of multiple businesses and organizations

Experienced integration and transfer of business processes by grasping the operations of business personnel and individual company personnel

Experienced in redesigning personnel operations processes for the entire group

Experience verifying the benefits of the new process

Experience in creating business manuals and FAQs for introducing new business processes and explaining to related parties

Experienced negotiations with internal and external stakeholders with conflicting interests

4. Project Manager for HR management project

Experienced in human resource management across businesses and corporations within group companies

Experience in creating human resources requirements by grasping the operations of business personnel and individual company personnel

Experienced establishing a mechanism to match human resources with operations that step across businesses and corporations

Experience verifying the effects of new personnel relocation

Experience in creating business manuals and FAQs for introducing new personnel allocation rules and explaining to related parties

Experienced negotiations with all layers regarding transfer placement

5. Labor planning manager

Basic knowledge of labor law in Japan

Knowledge and experience of labor practice in Japan.

Professional expertise in designing and driving work and operational rules for employees and executives.

Ability to actively investigate labor legislation and market practices and review Rakuten's work rules and operational rules in a timely manner

Human resources experience in an organization with more than 5,000 employees

Experienced negotiations with internal and external stakeholders with conflicting interests

Desired Qualifications:

1. Project manager for HR planning

HR due diligence experience associated with M&A

Experience in integrating HR schemes in multiple businesses

2. Project manager for HR operation

Experience with multiple HR organizations in a business company or group

Experience to hold on the implementation process with multiple communication channel to explain the new HR system and new business processes to the person in charge

3. Project manager for HR shared service project

Experience in sharing personnel operations and leading BPO

Experience of improving overall work efficiency and accuracy through systemization

4. Project Manager for HR management project

Experienced establishing a talent management system based on the transfer of human resources between businesses and corporations

Experience in improving the efficiency and accuracy of matching job requirements with human resources through systemization

1. Project manager for HR planning

Those who can build a HR strategy in line with the business strategy and plan a new organization and a new roles and responsibility of the HR functions in the entire group. Take into account the actual situation of each company.

Has successful experience as a manager or above responsibilities in the global consulting firm. Or rich HR experience in large size business company.

2. Project manager for HR operation

Those who can plan and execute cross-group personnel business transfer projects in order to attain a new personnel strategies while taking into account the actual conditions of individual companies.
