【 Job Description】
■ Products
- eSquare: Trading Platform
Japan's first full-fledged online trading platform that enables the free exchange of energy. This is a licensed business approved by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
- eCompass: Market Data Platform
A data platform that provides all necessary information for electricity trading, including electricity and fuel market prices, and various other forms of energy-related market data.
- eScan: Market Risk Management Tool
An Energy Trading Risk Management System (ETRM) tailored to Japan's electricity market. It visualizes business risk based on trading conditions and market data.
- JCEX: Environmental Value Trading Marketplace
An online marketplace for trading domestic environmental value and international voluntary carbon credits. It supports efforts toward climate change mitigation and achieving carbon neutrality in Japan.
To expand its business domain, the company is advancing the development of new products and is seeking engineers to join in launching these new ventures together.
■ Responsibilities
As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technical development of new products in the energy market.
Specifically:
・Technology selection spanning from frontend to backend
・Database design, API design, and architecture design
・Development and code reviews
・CI/CD environment setup and maintenance
・Preparation and maintenance of development and operations documentation
・Design system construction, component design, and screen design using Figma (depending on experience)
・Requirements definition in collaboration with the business side, and UX improvement through user interviews and log analysis (depending on experience)
【 Requirements】
Required
・At least one of the following experiences:
3+ years of development experience with React
3+ years of experience in backend design and development
・Experience in product operation and maintenance
Preferred
・Experience launching a product
・Experience in technology selection
・Experience in project management
・Experience in database table design
・Knowledge and experience in layered architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
・UX design experience (user interviews, requirements analysis, etc.)
・UI design experience (basic proficiency with tools like Figma is a plus)
・Experience in infrastructure setup using Terraform
