Sales Manager

Purpose / Summary:

To lead sales and business development momentum of Japan and work closely with distributors to drive growth in existing and new business while also supporting commercial policy and marketing initiatives in Japan.

Your Impact in This Role

In this position, you'll be at the heart of sensor product sales in Japan, driving tangible results through:

1.Drive new pipeline growth in Telemechanique sensor portfolio opportunities in Japan.

2.Achieving assigned targets for the geography with the help of channel partners and new developments in Japan

4.Co-work with Offer Manager to drive new initiatives(marketing promotion) to drive new pipeline generation with Channel Partners.

5.Participate with distribution on marketing initiatives(e.g events, lead-generation, competitive landscape evaluation); building familiarity in the Sensors industry to drive business momentum with distributors in Japan.

6.Develops new sales opportunities while also addressing the needs of existing customer base

7.Proactively discover new application opportunities and efficiently move existing ones from Discovery to Closure in the Sales Channel


What We're Looking For


Must-Have Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    Bachelor degree (in Engineering is preferable) or above
  2. Language:
    basic communication English is required
  3. Experience:
    5+ years of Industrial Automation sales / other Industrial products sales , sensor's expertise is a plus
  4. Technical:
    Knowledge about machine builders and system integrators market is preferred
  5. Skills:
    Relevant channel partner management.


Nice-to-Have Advantages:

  1. Proven track record in business development plans that successfully contribute for new and sustainable businesses.
  2. High level of self-motivation and initiative.
  3. Strong communication skill; basic communication English is required, understanding of cross cultures.
  4. Willingness to continuously learn and improve; strong ownership mindset and result oriented.
