Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic OEM / Key Account Development

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with Japanese OEM customers.
  • Build strong connections with product management, R&D, purchasing, and decision-makers.
  • Identify OEM/ODM and joint development opportunities based on customers' product roadmaps.

2. Solution-Based & Value-Driven Sales

  • Promote KINCO's motion control portfolio (servo motors/drives, PLC, HMI, VFD) with a focus on performance, cost, and system value.
  • Work closely with customers to translate technical and commercial requirements into tailored solutions.
  • Lead customized solution discussions, feasibility evaluations, and proposal development together with HQ R&D teams.

3. Project Ownership & Cross-Border Coordination

  • Act as the key interface between Japanese customers and KINCO headquarters in China.
  • Drive OEM/ODM projects from concept and validation through mass production.
  • Manage project schedules, commercial terms, and long-term cooperation agreements.

4. Market Insight & Business Growth

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and technology developments in Japanese industrial automation.
  • Provide structured customer and market feedback to support product planning and strategy.
  • Support the long-term expansion of KINCO's business in Japan.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in key account sales, business development, or product management within industrial automation or motion control.
  • Strong experience with OEM customers; exposure to robotics, logistics automation, or material handling is a plus.
  • Proven track record in customized solutions, OEM/ODM, or joint development projects preferred.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Solid technical understanding of servo systems, drives, motors, PLCs, and automation products.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to bridge customer needs and engineering teams to drive solutions forward.
  • Business-oriented mindset with strong ownership.

Language & Other

  • Fluent Japanese required; English as a working language. Chinese is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Japan.
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in a newly established organization.
