Company: GBS Japan team is focused on providing innovative solutions to businesses through our advertisement products, including TikTok for Business.

Our mission is to connect businesses in Japan with our platform's audiences, helping them find their next interest while offering full-funnel solutions.

Job Title: Sales Director

Description: The Sales Director will lead a team selling TikTok advertising solutions to clients across various verticals. In this role, you will develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for internal and external stakeholder management, creating long-term account plans, and driving product adoption.
  • Establish and nurture C-level relationships to shape digital strategies and optimize advertising expenditures.
  • Identify and secure revenue opportunities through strategic client engagement.
  • Understand client's business objectives to deliver tailored media solutions.
  • Create compelling sales propositions based on consumer trends and data insights.
  • Implement best practices for client servicing, including relationship management and business reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze performance and develop scalable advertising solutions.
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership, innovation, and performance solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in a commercial or consulting role with a focus on technology and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and driving complex decisions.
  • Ability to gain support from senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to drive business performance.
  • Passionate about driving client's business growth.
  • Experience working with large clients and understanding their business challenges.
