Department Overview
The Finance Department is responsible for the finance function of the Rakuten group. At the Finance Department, we support the CEO and CFO and other management through financial strategy and its implementation. Also, we administrate Rakuten group's treasury management through governance over group subsidiaries. Our mission as the Finance Department team covers a broad array of entities, as Rakuten grows rapidly. The Finance Department is a place where staff can leverage various knowledge and experiences through challenging, complicated and difficult assignments raised at a global level.

Position Details
We are looking for a professional who can plan and implement finance strategy, including financing arrangements, communication with financial institutions and internal departments, group finance and treasury management, and other jobs relating to financial planning.
Mandatory Qualifications:
We want a person who has a proactive character and professionalism. The ideal candidate should have skill and experience of company and financial analysis, experience in funding planning and execution, and agility to adapt to rapidly changing environment. Both Japanese and English business level communication skills are required, especially writing business level. Qualifications related to accounting and audit such as CPA, CIA are also required. Experiences of SOX implementation, internal control audit, and financial audit at accounting firms are preferred. Back office experiences such as accounting in listed companies and skills to utilize technology such as data analysis are also required. Experience of project management and financing at a corporate, in financial institutions and other financial functions activities such as subsidiaries' treasury management are also preferred. **Fluent Japanese language skills are required.**
