IT Business Management Group (ITBMG) is an independent team under CITD that supports the department mainly in budget management across all sections. Main responsibilities are in finance, with budget management, resource management, procurement support, and accounting transactions. We regularly communicate with the engineering side in the department and other Tech and Non-Tech organizations, and there are a lot of opportunities to be involved in Rakuten's ecosystem and various businesses.
Position Details:
* Overall budget management and accounting transactions for the department.
* Cost control and supports managers' decision making.
* Support technical projects in financial aspects.
* Provide a monthly financial report to the executive level and the business side.
* Lead annual budget making and support all sections in the department.
* Analyse and prioritize financial tasks communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Organize and facilitate a meeting following up actions, decisions, and tasks in a minute.
* Visualization and improvement of budget and accounting processes.
Mandatory Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field of study.
* 3+ years solid experience in financial accounting or in budget management.
* 3+ experience of business planning or project management in Technical fields.
* Strong documentation and visualisation skills.
* Strong people skills and oral communication skills.
* Good skill for Excel and other MS Office products.
* Highly disciplined for IT literacy.
* Native level Japanese and business level English.
Desired Qualifications:
* Team management or good experience in working in a team.
* Strong interests in technology and internet businesses.
* Certification in accounting such as bookkeeping.
* Experience in legitimate cost accounting or cost management for a product or service.
* Experience in asset management.
* Experience of general BI tools such as Salesforce, SAP, DOMO, PowerBI or similar tools.
* Experience of project/ticket management tools, such as Redmine, Backlog, Trello, Jira, or similar tools.
* Advanced analytical skills with theoretical understanding in statistics.
* Technical background or experience in engineering or in science.
Additional information on English Qualification:
* TOEIC 800 or equivalent experience.
