The Specialist FM Design Review - Arch / Civil reports directly to the FM Design Director. They should have Arch / Civil engineering background and experience to review designs from facility management perspectives, covering all stages of all design packages.
They ensure compliance of all designs to international and local regulations, codes, and standards such as IBC, NFPA.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of total experience.
- 10+ years of experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects, at least 7 of which in a design management role focused on FM aspects.
- Fully conversant with regulations, codes, and standards for large scale regional and urban developments.
- Proven track record in leading FM design reviews, implemented through execution and operation phases.
- Excellent communicator and a good command of English.
- Proven ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Fully computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership ability, rational judgement and reasoning skills.
- A team player, with team management capabilities.
- BSc/MSc in Arch / Civil Engineering with relevant experience in Facility Management.
- Should be Certified Facility Manager (CFM) by IFMA.
