Operations/Facilities Manager
You will work as a first-level manager under limited direction, responsible for the Tokyo site's day-to-day operations and physical office environment. Lead and manage a team to execute daily activities within the site(s) and enhance the work experience for all Tokyo office employees. Consistently apply organizational policies, guidelines, and business objectives to resolve business issues effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage planning, operations, and delivery aspects of facility maintenance, vendor management, safety and security, associate services, visitor services, client and internal events, meeting/food service operations, crisis management, space planning, and procurement of office supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with site leadership and OS senior management to establish service standards and guidelines.
- Create and manage the site operating budget.
- Broaden contributions and impact over time.
- Participate in business planning and strategy discussions within Office Services.
- Collaborate with site leadership to assess and respond to urgent safety/security issues and highly visible business events.
- Develop strategic direction of Office Services in the region.
Business and Technical Skills:
- Effectively plan and manage the work of others.
- Build relationships and influence senior business leaders on strategic business matters.
- Coordinate work among third parties and internal functions.
- Lead and manage projects across multiple teams and departments.
- Communicate effectively with diverse groups of associates and individuals outside the organization.
- Identify issues and recommend solutions on complex matters.
- Plan processes and work across broad groups to assure timely completion.
- Exercise sound judgment in resolving high-complexity matters.
