Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Project Completion: Lead the project design team from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to establish project goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute design concepts, space planning, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Collaborate with design directors to ensure innovative and optimal design solutions for clients.
- Design Team Management: Manage and lead a team of designers, overseeing project timelines, progress, and external collaborations.
- Manage internal and external design communications, ensure seamless project execution, and optimize team productivity.
- Collaborate with PMs on project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Education & Development:
- Lead research and development of new products, materials, and design trends within the team.
- Collaborate with regional creative studios to enhance global creative software skills.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and subordinates on project management and design skills.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Implement PR activities and enhance department visibility through proactive community engagement.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent design skills and ability to create innovative spaces.
- Ability to empathize with clients' perspectives and develop design solutions that meet their needs.
- Understanding of business operations and ability to align design concepts with client goals.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead teams to project completion.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in building design or interior design management.
- Prior experience as a team leader or project manager.
- Experience in office, retail, or hotel interior design, including project planning, design, and implementation.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CAD and MS Office software.
- English language proficiency (TOEIC 700 or higher).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp skills.
- Experience with Revit software.
- Professional certifications (architect, interior designer, etc.).
- LEED AP certification.
