Project Overview:

We are supporting a client's HR function through a transformation initiative aimed at addressing leadership gaps, succession planning, and organizational resistance to change. The external resource will support mainly in Talent Development area, driving leadership programs, coaching, and performance management while helping embed digital and data-driven practices. 

Your involvement in the project will be carried out as an Talent & Leadership Development Subject Matter Expert (independent contractor), part of a larger EYSC engagement team equipped with future-ready skills including project management, data engineering & business intelligence, organizational culture, and process excellence.

Scope of Services

  • Design and facilitate leadership development programs for mid-level and executive managers.
  • Drive succession planning and identify future-ready talent pipelines.
  • Embed vision and values into daily practices through workshops and coaching.
  • Support change management initiatives to shift from legacy practices to performance-driven culture.
  • Develop and implement Individual Development Plans and performance management frameworks.
  • Advise on digital transformation readiness and help leaders adopt data-driven approaches.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and key stakeholders to co-create solutions and build trust.
  • Act as reviewer for in-house and outsourced HR operations (employee benefits, contingent worker contracting, payroll/compliance) and ensure alignment with transformation goals.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Strong expertise in leadership development and talent management.
  • Proven ability to drive cultural change and implement performance systems.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation concepts and data-driven HR practices.
  • Coaching and facilitation skills for executive and mid-level teams.
  • Experience supporting organizations through complex transformation programs.

Language Requirements:

  • Japanese: Native level.
  • English: Fluent level in reading, writing, and speaking.
